Booking Terms & Conditions

The Lakeland Climbing Centre Ltd (LCC) will endeavour to provide a service to you with reasonable care and skill. Your safety and enjoyment are our prime concern. We want to ensure that you have as much fun as possible in a safe environment.

By signing up for a session, course or club with LCC, you are acknowledging the British Mountaineering Council’s participation statement below:

“The British Mountaineering Council recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”

All participants in climbing activities are also required to complete a registration form prior to their session where they, or the adult responsible for their involvement, will be required to declare any medical conditions which may affect their or others’ safety during the session and also to agree to abide by the Conditions of Use and Rules of the Centre. A refusal to complete the form will be deemed a cancellation by the client. In the absence of negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation neither LCC nor its employees or agents shall be responsible for the death, personal injury or illness of any guest, nor shall they be liable for any loss, theft or damage to valuables or any personal property whilst on LCC premises. Non-climbing visitors to the centre(s) must register at reception and abide by the rules applied to visitors.

LCC staff and instructors reserve the right to remove participants from any session if it is deemed that their behaviour impacts the safety or enjoyment of that individual or others.
